Hey There!
I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a follower of Jesus Christ. Originally from New York City, I met my husband while attending Rochester Institute of Technology where I studied Communication Design. After marriage, we moved to his hometown of East Providence, Rhode Island, where I worked as an account executive and copywriter for a small advertising design studio. Once we started our family, I stayed home and homeschooled our five children. In 2006, our family moved here to Texas where we immediately jumped into “Texas” life with cows, horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, dogs, and a very grumpy pig named, Toothless.
After graduating my youngest from our homeschool, I returned to my passion and began Sue Riley Photography.
When I'm not taking pictures, you can find me playing board games with my grown kids, babysitting my grands, painting in my studio, chasing after stray cattle or enjoying a quiet afternoon fishing in our pond.
Philosophy
I believe that photos stir our memories. They create conversations and bring people together. Good Photos can fill in the gaps of time. I believe that photos should capture more than what is seen by the eye. I believe photos should be true and beautiful and inspire the best in humanity.
