That means that I am a bit of a traditionalist at heart. While still creating light, airy, and fresh feeling images, I also love dramatic lighting and creative posing that enhance the moment and personalities of my clients.

The Process is Simple

1 | Connect

I know there are many photographers to choose from and it might even be a bit overwhelming, but consider your unique vision. Every bride has an idea of what they want their wedding photos to look like. I invite you to check out my work on my website. You'll see that I love to photograph special moments with a little creativity. My images tend to have deep rich colors and focused compositions. And I'm always looking to create a few dramatic portraits for you! If this is your vision, please connect with me.

2 | Book

After we connect online, I will contact you to chat about your wedding day photography needs and set up an in-person meeting usually at a local coffee shop. This give us a chance to meet and get to know one another, so we can see if we're a good fit.

At our meeting, we'll grab some coffee and chat. I'll want to hear all about your love story and your unique vision for your wedding day. We'll go over the wedding package that you're interested in, modify it if necessary, and finalize it. Usually by the next day, you will receive an email with my contract. If you're happy with everything, a retainer of 30% of the total and a signed contract will secure your date. I will then provide you with a wedding day photography questionnaire for you to complete. This will help me to make sure that we capture exactly what you want on your wedding day. Clients tell me that this really helps them to refine their vision for the day's photos.

If you choose to add on an Engagement session, we will also set up a day and time to do this. This is a great opportunity for the bride and groom to get to know their photographer so they are comfortable in front of the camera. We also guide them into the most flattering poses, so they will feel really confident on their wedding day. It's a lot of fun and the photos can be put on display as part of your wedding decor!

3 | Planning

Knowing how to schedule your day's photography can be a bit stressful. I'd love to help you with this! I've done enough weddings to know when certain photos should be taken to make the most of the day's light and how long to budget for each photography section like bridals and group formals. So, whenever you or your wedding planner begin to create your day's timeline, I will go over your shot list from the questionnaire and help you create and confirm your day's photography timeline. I really want to help you make planning more fun and stress-free!

4 | Your Wedding Day

This is the day you've been planning for and I'm so excited to be a part of making it as perfect as you've dreamed it would be! This is your day and I am there for YOU!

I will show up early and be ready to capture all of your special moments throughout the day. My goal is for you to have fun and to make everyone feel at ease in front of the camera, so they can look their best for each photo.

Three to four weeks after your wedding day, you will receive an email link to the dropbox gallery containing your fully edited high resolution digital images with print rights. They are yours to download, print, and share! Enjoy!

5 | Prints

I believe you will enjoy your wedding photos much more by displaying them in a frame, an album, or on canvas. You are free to use whatever lab you choose or I will be happy to give you recommendations. If printing and framing is not your thing, I will be happy to take care of that for you. Ask about my separate price list for A La Carte printing options.
